简介：
Alexander Kirillov, 37, is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (IST/ULisbon), Portugal. He obtained a PhD degree in Chemistry (2006) from the Technical University of Lisbon (TULisbon, IST), where he continued as a Post-doctoral Fellow (2007) and Researcher (2008-2011), before taking the current position. His main research focuses on Coordination Chemistry, Crystal Engineering, and Oxidation Catalysis with an emphasis on the following topics: (i) Design of functional MOFs, coordination polymers, multinuclear metal complexes and materials on their basis; (ii) Catalytic bioinspired systems for oxidative functionalization of alkanes and other substrates into derivatives with industrial significance (C？H functionalization, biomimetic oxidation, carboxylation, green protocols); (iii) Synthetic and catalytic processes in aqueous media. His publication record includes 140 Research Papers (~3000 citations, h index 32), 5 Book Chapters, 10 Patents, 5 Proceedings Papers, and over 85 Conference Abstracts.
