Chen, Eugene Y.-X. 教授简介：
Eugene Chen grew up and received undergraduate education in China, and he then moved to the U.S. for graduate study and earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1995, under the direction of late Professors James Chien and Marvin Rausch. After a postdoctoral stint at Northwestern University with Prof. Tobin J. Marks, he joined The Dow Chemical Company in late 1997, where he was promoted from Sr. Research Chemist to Project Leader. He moved to Colorado State University in August 2000. Currently he is the John K. Stille Chair in Chemistry and the Millennial Professor of Polymer Science and Sustainability. His current research is focused on polymer science, green & sustainable chemistry, renewable energy, and catalytic chemistry. To date, Prof. Chen has published about 150 scientific publications on Chem.Rev., Nat.Chem., J.Am.Chem. Soc.(26), Angew.Chem.Int.Ed., Macromolecules et. al. In 2012, he was elected Fellow, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and in 2015 he won the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.
